Client Research: Workplace Study for UCLA IT Services

workplace Studies

In August of 2017 I was selected by professor Dana Cuff to run an extensive programming study of UCLA’s Information Technology Services, a complex 400 person organization, in preparation for their move to new office space. Coordinating with a qualitative researcher, I developed organizational diagrams, workstation analysis diagrams, programming and workstation analysis and recommendations and initial architectural suggestions to present to the organization and the architect. Upon completion of this study, I was brought on by architect Kevin Daly to complete a series of programmatic studies of the new office space and develop preliminary architecturalrecommendations to the organization. These pages are a sample of the 73 page report I prepared and delivered to the departments, architects, and Associate Vice Chancellor involved in the project.

Below is a selection of the work completed and included in the report. The names and numbers have been redacted to maintain the security of the organization.
